Wikipedia started in just 2001 with a small number of contributors and now has a community of over 295,000 contributors working on more than 59 million articles in over 300 languages. Helen has worked with Wikipedia’s parent company - the Wikimedia Foundation - through her partnership with Minassian Media on numerous projects since 2014, when she ran PR and communications for the annual Wikimania conference generating hundreds of media stories including coverage of the Foundation’s first transparency report and front page coverage of the monkey selfie.
Helen currently runs full-service PR for the Foundation as part of Minassian Media, launching new products such as the new sound logo.
